Bengaluru-based Social Commerce Startup Meesho ne apni Grocery Branch se lagbhag 150 employees ko dismiss kiya hai, jisne apne Grocery Vertical ko Core App me Integrate kiya aur pichhle week ise Meesho Superstore me rebrand kiya.

Softbank-backed E-Commerce Firm ne ek blog post me kaha, "Jaisa ki ham integration ke aalok me efficiencies ko boost dene ke liye dekhte hai, Meesho Superstore me ye 6 months contracts par full-time roles ki ek chhoti sankhya aur kuchh third-party positions ki condition Core Business ke sath atirek ko dur karne ke liye revaluation kiya gaya tha."


"Iss restructuring ke attract logo ko support karne ke liye, Meesho Company ke bahar new opportunities ko secure karne me madad karne ke liye Severance Packages and Outplacement Assistance ki peshkash kar raha hai. Jabki Meesho ne Social Commerce par jor dekar shuruat ki, direct sales ka hissa badh raha hai, ise Flipkart aur Amazon jaise players ke khilaf khada kar raha hai. Ab ye apne business ka 75 percent sidhe apne platform par aane wale customers se prapt karta hai, jabki 25 percent resellers se aata hai.
