DAY 9 of NAVRATRI :- Siddhidhatri Devi is the ninth aspect of the Hindu goddess Durga and ninth Navadurga . Her name Siddhidgatri means " Siddhi " means supernatural power or meditative ability " Dhatri " means giver or awarder. One side of Lord Shiva's body is of Goddess Siddhidhatri . Hence he is also known as Ardhanarishwar . It is said that Lord Shiva attained all the siddhis by worshiping her. Goddess Siddhidhatri is the Moola Roopa (original form) of Maa Parvati . She possesses eight supernatural powers or siddhis called Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakambya, Ishitva and Vashitva . She is the possessor of 26 different siddhis which she grants her devotees all sorts of achievement, perfections and power. She removes all ignorance and provides knowledge to her devotees.
