Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress on April 17 released its manifesto for Lok Sabha elections. The party promised to abolish CAA and discontinue NRC, as part of its poll promises. Meanwhile, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav took a jibe at the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, claiming that PM Modi’s government has betrayed the PDA (Pichhde, Dalit, and Alpasankhyak) families, and this PDA will defeat the NDA.
