Kolkata Case: CBI Makes First Arrests Sanjay Roy In Hospital Horror; Ex-Principal, Cop Held For…

CBI on September 14 arrested former principal of RG Kar Hospital, Sandip Ghosh and a police officer in the rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata. The arrested police officer is Abhijeet Mondal, who is the SHO of Tala Police Station. Both of them have been arrested for alleged delay in registration of FIR and missing evidence from the crime site. Notably, these are the first arrests, directly in the Kolkata murder-rape probe, since the arrest of prime accused Sanjay Roy last month.
